It is a powdered medicine that is soluble with hot water. Use it to treat irregularities in the body. It originated from the Thata Wiwan scripture from the Ayutthaya period.
During the lifetime of Dr. Waan Rodmuang, Dhat Banjob medicine was traditionally prepared and distributed in both powdered form—dissolved in hot water—and as a ready-to-take liquid. Production was later suspended for several decades as part of the careful preservation and transmission of the original formula.
Today, Baan Mowaan has revived Dhat Banjob once again, offering it in powdered form for dissolution in hot water. This formulation is also listed in Thailand’s National List of Essential Medicines.
It is indicated for disorders of the digestive system, including
- Bloating, Indigestion, abdominal discomfort
- Diarrhea, and food poisoning
